This year we want to give more insight into the work of different local artists at our Cowork by Memos locations. Cowork by Memos is a company established by Warimpex with office spaces in Łódź and Kraków. All of the Memos coworking spaces are finished with an artistic flair, leading to a modern and warm look. For the Red Tower Office in Łódź, Egon Fietke created the work “Space Cowboy” on the second floor of the building. Memos has been operating here since May 2023. Warimpex is proud to support local artists through this cooperation.

About the artist
Egon Fietke is a street art and mosaic artist. He graduated in cultural studies with a focus on film at the Faculty of Philology of the University of Łódź. Over the years he has participated in different projects, galleries and artistic groups, and even started his own music group. In the years 1988–1990 he participated in the Orange Alternative as part of the Maniak Action Gallery in Łódź. He is also co-founder of the artistic group Wspólnota Leeeżeć, and co-created and edited the "Magazine Leeeżeć". He was a vocalist and creator of concert sets for his own music group, Egon Fietke Ventilator (1989–1993). Since the 1990s, he has also been creating ultraviolet artistic installations with a fantastic function, which are futuristic devices for interplanetary contacts. He works using paper pulp, branches, waste paper and paper tubes, and even creates his own films. Exhibitions and shows of his art took place in several European countries such as France, Italy, Poland, the Netherlands and England, as well as in Japan and the USA. He was also the curator of the series of art exhibitions titled "Die Kunst ist Toth".
