Last month, the iconic InterContinental Warsaw celebrated its 20th anniversary. In the last two decades, the Hotel has not only become a symbol of the capital but also an integral part of its vibrant history. Its significant location has made it a witness and participant in numerous historical, political, social, and cultural events. Over these two decades, Warsaw has risen to be one of the prominent European capitals, and the hotel has proudly hosted visitors from around the world.
To celebrate the anniversary, the InterContinental Warsaw hosted a special Jubilee Gala. Among others, TV star Hubert Urbański and Monika Mikulska-Guźniczak, PR and Marketing Director, were on site. The Event was inaugurated with a speech by General Manager Britta Kutz, where she expressed gratitude to the Hotel's employees, guests, and business partners, highlighting the Hotel's prominent role in Warsaw's history.
Since the Hotel is also renowned for its excellent cuisine, the Gala attendees had the opportunity to savour dishes prepared by Karol Okrasa and his team from Platter Restaurant, Downtown Restaurant, banquet kitchen and +OneBar. The menu included items such as Fine de Claire Oysters Herve No. 2, Mushroom Arancini with porcini powder, venison with blackberries and sturgeon with dry tomatoes and mushroom foam. Executive Chef Grzegorz Krupa oversaw the entire culinary experience.
The evening concluded with an impressive birthday cake and a toast to the InterContinental Hotel Warsaw, accompanied by the sounds of "Happy Birthday" performed by Dominika Gawęda. The atmosphere was further enhanced by a concert featuring the star of the Blue Cafe band.
