Meet our Tenants: Dr. Kevin Foglar, founder of FOGLAR – Law & Translation, at Cowork by Memos office at Mogilska 43

1) Tell us about yourself: Who are you and what does your company do?

My name is Kevin Foglar, I am a lawyer and sworn translator of English. I am also the founder of FOGLAR – Law & Translation, a legal and translation firm that combines the precision of law with the excellence of translation services. Our mission is to provide comprehensive legal advisory services to businesses, public institutions, and private individuals. We specialize in areas such as new technologies, real estate, construction and international trade, and we are also known for our high-quality sworn and specialist translation services. Furthermore, I am personally deeply involved in helping Hasidic non-profit organizations with their operations in Poland.

2) What significance does the flexibility of the tenancy have for your work or your company? What prompted you to rent a flexible office space?

We currently rent one office space with three work-stations. The tenancy does not bind specific employees to specific desks, i.e. my team can rotate and come into the office whenever it is necessary or whenever a specific team member wishes to do so. I deeply appreciate this since we work in a hybrid model.

3) Have you worked in “traditional office spaces” before? If so, what distinguishes this experience from the coworking model?

I always say that the biggest advantage of the coworking model is the opportunity to meet many different people from a variety of professional backgrounds. By locking yourself in a traditional office you don’t have as many opportunities to learn from experts from other fields. You would be surprised how many interesting and valuable things you can learn over a casual cup of coffee in the morning. These conversations broaden your perspectives on many issues. It also gives you easier access to many specialists and potential clients / business partners.

Another nice touch is, of course, the all-inclusive price. Your monthly payment covers everything related to running and maintaining the office space: from internet and utilities, cleaning and maintenance to beverages and printing. This model saves you a lot of headache and lets you completely focus on your business.

The office itself is also modern and very well maintained (the conference rooms are particularly great), which leaves a good impression on visitors.

4) Has flexible use changed your productivity or the way you work? If so, how?

Working in the office is very important - especially when meeting clients, conducting negotiations or meeting with your team. I strongly believe that in certain situations face-to-face interactions give you much more value than online meetings ever will. On the other hand, I also appreciate the convenience of working from home. The flexibility of the tenancy allows our team to have the best of both.

I believe that the strongest testament to our satisfaction with the office at ul. Mogilska 43 is the fact that we have been working here since 2022 - it’s been nearly 4 years already and we look forward to many more years in the future.
