The Green Key certificate is a leading eco-label for hotels, campsites, small accommodations, restaurants and attractions operating worldwide. With its high standard for excellence, it is a prestigious certificate for businesses following the strict criteria set by the Foundation for Environmental Education.

The greet Hotel Darmstadt was purchased by Warimpex in 2019, followed by a rebranding in the late summer of 2021. Following the pandemic-related restrictions and extensive renovation, the hotel is once again welcoming more guests. Now, the greet hotel officially achieved the Green Key certification and is thereby taking an important step towards sustainability in the tourism industry.

More than 4,000 hotels in 60 countries are already Green Key certified, all of them covering the same 13 criteria areas. Frequent audits and rigorous documentation make sure that the requirements are maintained. Thereby, Green Key secures a high quality of their certification.
